Bountiful, Kaysville, Layton area Potluck:
Usually every third Wednesday of each month, the the wonderful mom's of Southern Davis County Utah gather to share successes, recipes and fun.  These are wonderful helpful friends making healthy change so much easier.
.
This months Potluck will be Wednesday, Nov 19, 2003, 6:30pm at Tom & Betty's Home
Potluck will be at home of
Tom and Betty Rodgers,
390 West 1500 South,
Bountiful, Utah at 6:30 pm.
Look for our shady, cool and private little family "Forest" home in town!
If the weather turns warm we will be on the lawn enjoying our own forest fresh air -- but be prepared for any supprise weather changes.  If it only threatens rain, snow or just is cool,  you might dress warmer or bring sweater or jacket. And -- if it really does rain, snow or gets cool we, will squeeze inside our very humble, modest home! Just be prepared for super humble.

Bring a 100% Pure, Vegetarian/Vegan* dish, desert, salad or drink.
If you cannot bring a dish - at least bring a hungry tummy - all hungry tummies are accepted!
We also recommend you bring your own dinnerware -  if you can. But we will have some extra if you don't.

The easiest way to get there, see below:  (Map ~ click here to scroll down )

If you need more info, call (Tom) 298-9095

* 100% Pure Vegetarian/Vegan means:  Free of meat, dairy, eggs, honey, algae or seaweeds, hydrogenated oils or (unidentifiable) chemical ingredients.
Not Milk Man - Robert Cohen shows our moms and sisters some of his fantastic cuisine

while he and daughter Jenny graced us in his local lecture tour we arraigned and enjoyed!

Special Thanks to Brooke Adams, reporter for the Salt Lake Tribune for her wonderful article:
"Little Sprouts" -  Pregnancy and raising children on a Vegan Diet.
Please encourage and thank Brooke (and Stacey Nix Univ. of Utah Nutrition, who she referenced ) for her kindly positive efforts in courageously publishing this article! Her article helps correct seriously flawed public perceptions in truly healthy life choices, particularly for children. This information is in critical need, especially  within our  western meat focused economy with its over-advertised and misinformed, hence consequently unhealthy youth, families and communities - including many health professionals and educators.

Consider sharing your personal and your family's vegan health successes with Brooke (and Stacey) as well.

390 West 1500 South, Bountiful, Utah
If you have found a modest white house (with a little garage and a "fort" for my handywork)
-- hidden deep in our own little private forest --
on the North side of the street -- you have found the right place!

Parking is easy!
If all space is filled in my large (dirt) driveway, there is plenty of street parking in front on 1500 South (or at my ward-house parking lot around back at my rear fence.  I have a gate through).
