"The Little Float that tried!"

For a one family, one man effort I think what we designed did turn out cute anyway. At least we are more experienced and ready for next year -- if we can afford it! Check it out.

With no real resources, no real manpower and no real time, we still tried to get our little float put together and into our local parades to raise the consciousness of our local moms and families, but just missed our line up in our state's children's parade and could not make it into our home town parade. 
.
With my wife's flowers, she, my daughter and I prepared

(set up here without our daughter's Jeep in place, so she could use it to continue to go to work until the day of the Parade)		 a humble float
and its pulling vehicle's decorations!

-- then we attached all together just before the parade pull.

Our little flat-bed trailer became a garden of flowers, trees --
"...the more kind we are to our animals, the more will peace increase!" ~ Brigham Young...is the side banner with its profound life and attitude re-adjustment call and central message of the float!
 -- and grass, with a picnic blanket and umbrella to provide a loving picnic scene for our pig, rabbit, chickens, ducks, swan, squirrels, turtle, frogs, gopher -- all here awaiting the children!

No Animal is harmed or destroyed to nourish these kind and healthy Children!
As a consequence of their loving choices these children are stronger, brighter, kinder and better prepared for happier life and living for the Millennium!
These are my families Millennial candidates, who already are at peace with all creatures, all creation and themselves!

These children are already realizing the blessings of living with full charity for the animals, the Earth and each other!

 The true focus and issue of our float and efforts are here now visible: 

It is the happiness, health and safety of my own (and your) children, grandchildren and their's beyond!

These banners, along with my artist friend's (Nancy Glazier) "Lamb and Lion" paintings -- -- we made ready for mounting onto my son's and daughter's jeep, which we would then hook up to the Millennial Children's garden float for the pull.

"When men cease to make war upon the animals and himself, then the Lamb and the Lion will dwell together, and man's children will heal, play and live in safety and peace!"

"We now must become the pioneers and patriots bringing healing and peace to the world, ourselves and our children!"

Dogs always know that checking tires is a good standard operational practice! And that is "Milo's" specialty!		 "Milo"
-- my son's and daughter-in-law's puppy
-- is here dutifully checking underneath the trailer and eyeballing the tires to see if they are up to safely carrying his precious family, friends and master's load!

It is important to now nourish our children with the safest and most appropriate of foods! -- that is because they are faced with a world and physical legacy that has been foolishly violated and unwisely stewarded.
Ok Grandpa! Are you done with taking our pictures!

Can we eat now? Please!
 The children of today must be, even more than before, protected from the dangers of degradation of environment and disease that we have engendered into the system through our generations of flawed understanding, appetites, exploitations and greed!

And they must also be taught a greater reverence, respect and love for all life if they are to have love and peace even among themselves!

Our hope is that in subsequent opportunities now, next year and beyond, with some vision, gratitude, enthusiasm and resources from others who have already benefited from our sharing with them, that we with their added energies can improve upon and place a float into other parade opportunities so we can influence and bless even more moms, children and people!  The visual messaging a float and parade provides is well worth that effort!  I know we should use every opportunity to reach those whose hearts that can be awakened, softened and taught -- even through a rolling street message in a gentle scene certified with God's innocent creatures and with happy, healthy and kindly children that already live as Millennial Children! ~Tom Rodgers
