"M.S." or "Multiple Sclerosis"
"Multiple Sclerosis" is the term used to describe the autoimmune (inflammatory) diseases with deterioration of the Central Nervous System -- the brain and its nerve tissue extentions into the body, which can influence muscle, motor or functional control in selected or all areas of the body. This disease belongs to a group of disorders known as Demyelination Diseases. In these diseases (including peripheral nerve demyelination of Guilliain-Barre' Syndrome) your brain and nerve tissues are (or appear to) being attacked by your own immune system. Antibodies you have created to destroy foreign myelin are turning against your own. This is due to possible errors in the original construction of your antibodies or in corrupted identification chemistry of your own tissues. So your own antibodies, not perfectly differentiating between ingested, injected or surgically installed (alien) myelin and yours, turn against your own myelin sheaf and labor to destroy it. If the destruction rate exceeds the body's ability to replace and repair lost or damaged myelin, clinically evident and progressive M.S. ensues.
Myelin, a short chained saturated fatty acid and protien (lipoprotien) compound, constitutes the sheaf, covering and protecting the nerve fibers and maintaining insulating integrity for the nerves in the brain and all parts of the body. No part of your body, nor that of any animal body is formed, or has healthy nerve function without it. Failure of the myelin sheaf allows cross-signals or short circuiting, and eventual nerve disconnects to occur, and precipitates confused feed back signals and control losses at the brain.
Primary to myelin compounding is the short chain fat C3 and your own -- or the animal's protein. As an animal marker is present and is detected on any foreign myelin brought into your body, it does act as an antibody trigger (antigen) against your own myelin.
Virtually all animal (and insect) foods (or animal tissue formulated pharmacuticals, e.g. vaccines) contain myelin structures or myelin precursors, including milk, eggs (the egg yolk, is the fat/protien reserve for the developing chicken embryo's brain and nerves, etc.), fish, foul and all animal meats, seaweed! Butter, whey, gelatin or "Jello", and honey or any insect product can contain trace amounts of myelin lipoproteins which could still be sufficient to trigger errant antibody releases and attacks.
If you are struggling with "M.S." or M.S.-like symptoms, or have a genetic or environmental predisposition (cases in your family history or community) and you are concerned that it could be showing up in you, maintain your current prescribed therapy and professional counsel, but consider this information and try to avoid the possible dietary triggering of the "M.S." myelin antibodies factors by not ingesting any of the above noted animal derived (all nerve / myelin containing) items, then with a little patience, look for any improvements.
Remember, No plant nor plant sourced foods contain any myelin, nor do plants attach an animal marker or contaminant to its simple fats and proteins. But the critical simple fats and proteins (essential amino acids) for construction of your own myelin are supplied unadulterated and in abundance in plant foods.
And contrary to pubic opinion, wives tales, generations of belief, advertising and propaganda, all nutrients for human health and vigor are provided completely, easily and abundantly from a simple variety of garden foods; and these bolster healthy immune function, do not add pathogen loading. And for anyone, including those who are predisposed to M.S, no plant foods will trigger human myelin (self-) destruction -- to cause or continue M.S!
